Z5K - W1D2

It was a bit of a challenge to convince myself to run again today but it's something that I want to do so I put on the gear and just started.... everything was easy from there.

I got the music thing sorted out. I was trying to use the playlist through iCloud but it has to actually be downloaded onto my iPhone. Done and done. For the most part the music was ok, just have to rearrange them a bit to make them work well.

This workout was the same as the first. I tried to run and walk a bit faster today. I still just walked the free form run though... I was feeling pretty beat. Don't want to make this whole thing too painful so that I don't want to come back to it.

The workout today seemed to have a bit more character interaction which I enjoyed. One of the NPC's (if I can get totally geeky and call them that) even came on in the middle of a segment to scare me! Ha! Awesome.

Z5K - W1D1

After the intro I spent a lot of time putting together a new running playlist. I was very excited to see how the songs I had chosen worked with running today... only to find no music! I have no idea what happened but I'm going to have to play around with my iPhone to figure it out.

So the first 'run' was super easy. 10 minutes of walking, 10 sets of 1 minute walk then 15 second run, then a 10 minute free form run.  I ended up walking the free form since I'm still getting over this cold and didn't want to ruin myself for W1D2.

There wasn't any real plot or story during the workout, only at the beginning and then at the end. We'll have to see if it keeps my interest.

Zombies, Run! Z5K

Well hello world....

So the C25K didn't work out for me like I had hoped. It started raining for weeks and I stopped training. I did complete the 5k but couldn't run the whole time. :(

Now armed with the new app Zombies, Run! Z5K I am starting to train again.

I only did the intro today and walked it.
